ABOUT EMINALE VIGILANTE GROUP
The Eminale Vigilante Group (EVG) is the community security arm of Ifon Improvement Forum, established to enhance safety and security within Ifon community in partnership with law enforcement agencies.
OUR MANDATE
The EVG operates under the framework of community policing to:
- Complement the efforts of the Nigeria Police Force
- Provide local intelligence and community surveillance
- Respond quickly to security incidents
- Build trust between law enforcement and community members
- Prevent crime through visible community presence
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The EVG operates under the supervision of IIF Executive Council and works in
close collaboration with:
- Ifon Police Station
- Traditional rulers and community leaders
- Local government security apparatus
- Neighborhood watch groups
OPERATIONS
The Eminale Vigilante Group conducts:
- Regular community patrols
- Security awareness programs
- Coordination with police on security matters
- Emergency response support
- Intelligence gathering and reporting
MEMBERSHIP & TRAINING
EVG members are carefully selected from within the Ifon community based on:
- Good character and reputation
- Physical fitness
- Commitment to community service
- No criminal record
All members undergo training in:
- Community policing principles
- Conflict resolution
- First aid and emergency response
- Human rights and civil liberties
- Communication and reporting protocols
ACCOUNTABILITY & OVERSIGHT
The EVG operates with strict accountability measures:
- Regular reporting to IIF Executive Council
- Coordination with Nigeria Police Force
- Adherence to constitutional rights and rule of law
- Community feedback mechanisms
- Periodic performance reviews

We encourage all community members to:
