Engr. Funsho Kupolokun

Engr. Funsho Kupolokun

Chairman
Engr. Funsho Moses Kupolokun is the Chairman Board of Trustees of Ifon Improvement Forum (IIF). He’s a seasoned engineer with over 4 decades in oil and gas exploration and production. He was Senior Special Assistant to President Olusegun Obasanjo between 1999 and 2004. He was later appointed Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). While at the NNPC, Engr. Kupolokun spearheaded critical reforms and strategic initiatives that transformed the organization. He currently serves on the Board of many corporate organizations including being the Chairman of DROK Energy. He was the foundation Chairman of the IIF before being unanimously elected as Chairman of the BOT.
Chief (Dr.) Olufemi Awani

Chief (Dr.) Olufemi Awani

Deputy Chairman
Chief (Dr.) Olufemi Awani is a member of the Board of the Trustees (BOT) of the Ifon Improvement Forum (IIF). He is one of the foundation members of IIF and was formerly the co-ordinator. He holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Masters of Veterinary Science (MVSc) degrees, respectively, from the University Ibadan. He had a brief stint at the Federal Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI) Vom, Plateau State, before joining the Ondo State Civil Service. Here, he had a distinguished career spanning over three decades rising to the post of the State's Director of Veterinary Services before his appointment as a Permanent Secretary (PS). He served in the office of the Deputy Governor as PS in charge of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and later re-deployed as PS Ministry of Commerce and Industry before he voluntarily retired in Dec 2007. He is currently the President of Ifon Development Union (IDU), which serves as the mother of other socio-cultural organizations in Ifon Community. Chief Awani holds the traditional Chieftaincy title of Ogwadogbon of Ifon.

Rear Admiral W O Ademoluti (rtd)

Rear Admiral William Rotimi Ademoluti (Rtd) is a seasoned Naval Officer. He’s a graduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna. He was commissioned into the Nigerian Navy in July 1977 on completion of the Midshipman Course at the BRNC Dartmouth UK. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval College of Engineering Lonavia, India. Subsequently specialized in Marine Engineering at the Royal Naval Engineering College Plymouth UK. He is a fellow of the National Defense College and holds the master degree in Military Strategic Studies at the University of Ibadan. He held numerous appointments while in the Navy including the Executive Director of DFRRI OndoState, Superintendent of the Naval Dockyard Lagos and retired as the Chief of Naval Engineering. As a member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the IIF, he has brought his wealth of experience to bear on issues affecting the community.
Engr. Charles Adeniji

Engr. Charles Adeniji

Trustee
Educated at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, USA where he obtained B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering 1978, Adeniji worked in the Oil and gas Industry for over 30 years covering both Upstream and Downstream. His experience both local and overseas range from Facilities Engineering, Crude production operations, Shipping, Gas Commercialization and Business Development Upon retirement in July 2014, he sought a career in the agriculture; Joined the Industrial Cassava Stakeholder Association in 2016 participating in its visioning process and governance. Created AlphaSix Ltd, a private company, for farming, production and processing of cassava, maize and plantain.

Major General Benjamin Muyiwa Badewole (Rtd) was elected the pioneer President of Ifon Improvement Forum (IIF) in March 2025. He’s a well decorated military officer who retired from the Nigerian Army (NA) in September 2011 after 34 years of unblemished military service. While in the employment of the NA, he held numerous command and staff appointments. He was at different times the Director, Legal Services (Army); Registrar Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna and Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Military Police, Basawa - Zaria. Major General Badewole holds an LL.B (Hons) Degree in Law from the University of Lagos. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in October 1987. He attended the prestigious Command and Staff College, Quetta, Pakistan in 1996. He’s a fellow of the National Defence College, Abuja. He holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Managing Defence in a Democratic Market-based Society from Cranfield University, United Kingdom and a Master’s of Science Degree in Strategic Studies from the University of Ibadan. General Badewole has brought his wealth of experience, discipline and managerial profundity to bear in leading the IIF to enviable heights.

Mrs. Stella Ronke Akinmusire (Née Adedipe)

Vice President
Mrs Ronke Akinmusire (née Adedipe) has a Master’s degree in Business Studies from London Guildhall University and BA in Children Social Work. She is the Managing Director of Social Work and Skills Services Ltd. Having lived in London since 1981, she brings over 35 years’ experience as a freelance Children’s Services professional and business owner. She is a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother, with a strong commitment to family and community life. She has served the Ifon community in the UK for more than 30 years, including as President and Vice President of the Ifon Descendants Association UK. She currently serves as Vice President of the Ifon Improvement Forum (IIF) Worldwide, supporting development initiatives for her homeland.
Princess (Mrs) Adejoke Asemota

Princess (Mrs) Adejoke Asemota

General Secretary
Princess (Mrs) Adejoke Asemota is a qualified accountant with over 30 years experience in the United Kingdom, a qualified and seasoned Prince2 Project practitioner who has worked on projects across various public sector platforms, with a track record in Governance, Management & Systems Transformation and Change Management. Mrs Asemota is co-founder and vice Chairperson of REALM Foundation, a community initiative not-for-profit organisation with a focus on youth empowerment, education & family welfare and enhancing the wellbeing of the less privileged in our community. She is a Director at Silverlink Care Agency, working in collaboration with the health and social care services to recruit and train workers. She is a founding member of Ifon Improvement Forum, serving as the pro tem Financial Secretary from 2022 to March 2025 when she was elected as the pioneer General Secretary. Mrs Asemota is passionate about community development initiatives and has been at the forefront of all IIF projects to date, she leads with discipline, integrity and focus.

Chief Joseph Tunde Eniolorunda (The Asuwada of Isuwada Quarters of Ifon Omima Kingdom) was elected the Financial Secretary of Ifon Improvement Forum in March 2025. He was born on 4th October 1960, attended both his Elementary and Secondary Schools in Ifon. After working briefly as a Teacher at Ekamarun and as a Clerk in Cooperative Bank Ltd ( Now Polaris Bank) Ifon ; He proceeded to "The Polytechnic Owo' to Study Accountancy. He later joined The Federal Inland Revenue Service ( Now NRS) where he rose to the Rank of Deputy Director. Chief Tunde Eniolorunda obtained a Master degree in Banking & Finance. from The Prestigious University of Lagos in 2001. He is a Fellow of ICAN, ICSA & CITN. Chief Asuwada is happily married with Children

Mr Adigun is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor / construction cost consultant, and a chartered building engineer (UK). He has BSc. (Hon) in Quantity Surveying in UK, MSc Real Estate Development & Investment in UK with Project Management. Elected Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (London) 2002, The Chartered Institute of Building (London) 2003, and Fellow chartered Association of Building Engineers (London) 2005. Mr Adigun has a wide range of experience in Building & Quantity Surveying services and Project management for public/ private housing and construction projects. Mr. Adigun was a founding member of Ose Indigenes Association UK in 1992 and a pioneer founding member of Ifon Descendants Association UK/ Ireland in 2005. He was once a president of both Associations in UK where he served meritoriously for the benefit Ifon indigenes both home and in the diaspora. He is a founding member of Ifon Improvement Forum and elected as Treasurer in March 2025

Mr. Daisi Olagbegi

Assistant General Secretary
Mr Olagbegi Oluyede Daisi was elected Assistant General Secretary of Ifon Improvement Forum in March 2025. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Communication Arts. Masters Degree in Industrial and Labour Relations. PhD on going in Industrial & Labour Relations. Work at Manager level at Eko Electricity Distribution Company Lagos. An easy going personality who will never compromise on integrity. Married with Children. He loves writing and Music.
Mr. Okanlawon Abadariki

Mr. Okanlawon Abadariki

Legal Adviser
Mr. Okanlawon Abadariki is a pioneer law graduate from the Ondo State University now known as Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000 after completing the Nigerian Law School programme. Since called to the Bar, Okanlawon has been in active legal practice spanning over 26 years. His area of specialization is in litigation, corporate and commercial law practice. He’s also the pioneer Legal Adviser of Ifon Improvement Forum (IIF) and has been very active in encouraging upward mobile sons and daughters of Ifon, in the diaspora, in joining the Forum. Barr. Okanlawon was instrumental to the registration of IIF with the Corporate Affairs Commission. He always enthusiastic in matters concerning the welfare of the community.
Chief Victor Olugbenle Rotimi

Chief Victor Olugbenle Rotimi

Chief Victor Olugbenle Rotimi is the Auditor of Ifon Improvement Forum (IIF). He is a seasoned fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria having been in practice for over 4 decades. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano. Chief Rotimi was a Senior partner in the accounting firm of Akintola Williams Deloitte & Touche (now Deloitte & Touche) for many years before retiring to set up Olugbenle Rotimi and Co. where he’s presently the Managing Partner. Also, he’s a Member, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. Apart from holding the traditional title of Chief Odofin of Ifon, he belongs to numerous socio-cultural groups that have continually advanced the development of Ifon Community.
